If you're looking to buy a new home from a builder one of the first things you'll notice is that the more new home subdivisions and new home builders you find, the more questions you'll have.  What amenities does each new home builder offer at each of their developments?  Where are the new home building sites for all the builders, or for a particular new home builder?  Does the home builder's development have the type of floorplan you're looking for?  Are there any incentives being offered? Does the new home builder offer financing?  Most importantly, how much do the homes cost in each development? 

I've been told from past clients that the biggest challenge is that there are many builders and you drive past developements you never knew were there in the first place.  Even as Realtors, we sometimes have a hard time keeping track of where the new home subdivisions are being developed.  More now than ever, no one wants to blindly drive an area searching for a new home subdivision or to get to the new development and find it is priced beyond your comfort zone. 

Here then are the fruits of hours of research through various print and online publications to find the prominent new home builders and their new home developments in the San Antonio area.  I've done my best to provide the direct link to the interactive new home builder's map of their developments.  Unfortunately, I cannot split the builders into pricing categories as they vary greatly between areas of San Antonio and the surrounding cities.
